Get ready for an exciting weekend at the Christmas Sparty, where top youth wrestlers and BJJ athletes will go head-to-head in Lansing, Michigan! Hosted at the spacious Lansing Center, this multi-day event offers individual and dual competitions across a range of age and skill levels.

Competition Details

• Disciplines: Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ)
• Divisions: Individual and Duals
• Medals & Awards:
  • Folkstyle Champions: Belts for 1st Place
  • 2nd-6th Place: Medals
  • Rookie/Novice Divisions: Medals for 1st-4th Place
  • Freestyle/Greco: Medals for 1st-4th Place
  • Duals: Medals for Top 4 teams, with the winning team also taking home a banner and plaque.

Age and Weight Information

• Eligibility: Open to wrestlers from all states; no memberships are required for coaches or competitors.
• Age Groups: Determined by wrestler’s age as of 12/31/24
  • Novice Divisions: 6U, 8U, 10U, and 12U (Co-Ed)
  • Freestyle Divisions: 8U and up
• Weigh-Ins: Only one weigh-in is required for the entire weekend across all divisions, using the wrestler’s lowest recorded weight. Wrestlers have the flexibility to adjust their weight class based on their actual weight at the scales.
• Weight Allowance: All wrestlers receive a 0.9 lb weight allowance.
